Our agency’s services are a joint effort between highly trained foster families, full and part-time support staff, professional staff and consultants to provide care for foster children or for children or adults with disabilities living in the DFW metro area. We provide care in which the foster parents or field staff are the primary treatment agents. Treatment planning is a team function carried out under the clinical direction of licensed professional staff. Treatment is focused on teaching the adaptive, pro-social skills needed to equip the child or adult and their family with the means to deal effectively with their unique conditions. We contract with or hire the following personnel:
- Licensed foster parents for children in Child Protective Services’ custody. Foster parents are trained individuals who support the key elements of family and community living while supporting the goals of permanency planning for those individuals.
- Part-time Employees to provide respite and community support services for children or adults with disabilities. Staff are paid hourly to work in homes or take individuals into the community.
- Foster/Companion Care families share their homes with children or adults having disabilities in the Dallas/Ft. Worth and surrounding areas. Training is similar to licensed foster parents but most of these individuals also remain in contact with their natural families who share in the care.
- Clinical and administrative staff to help make service delivery work for the benefit of the consumers, either as casework staff or clerical employees.
- Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, and Behavioral Management Professionals interested in contracting for referrals, please contact 817-522-5052.
