LoneStar Solutions’ Disabilities Program meets the needs of children and adults who are eligible for developmental disability services through the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
An individual or their guardian may choose an array of services using state contract funding. People with disabilities who have been granted service funds through the Home and Community based Waiver (HCS) program, the Texas Home Living (THL) program, or the CLASS residential program may choose our agency to be their provider.
LoneStar Solutions firmly believes in the rights of individuals with disabilities to make as many of their own choices about their lives as possible, and LoneStar wants to support them and their families in meeting their personal outcomes and goals.
LoneStar Solutions employs or contracts with responsible people, who are either selected or approved by the individual or by their guardian for provision of needed services.
Available Service Array:
- Residential Companion-Care Services for children or adults in support home/foster home settings.
- Community Support Services in the person’s own home, with training components.
- Respite Services when the family needs breaks from performing caretaking duties.
- Many other supports authorized by funding sources such as HCS, THL, and CLASS residential.
