All of LoneStar Solutions’ services utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to address behavioral concerns and teach functional skills to people diagnosed on the autism spectrum or with other related developmental disabilities. Research shows that children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families benefit greatly from Applied Behavior Analysis services. LoneStar Solutions can show parents how to teach their children how to communicate and function independently in their own environment providing them with a different future than they may have otherwise experienced. Families will learn more effective ways to interact with their children on an everyday basis creating changes that will last a lifetime for the entire family.

Our Autism Services:

LoneStar ABA Academy: Our academy is designed for children of all ages to provide 1:1 intensive services based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. Each child is assigned a Line Therapist who is trained and supervised by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The clinic-based program is offered from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm, five days a week, with open-enrollment occurring monthly. Each child will have a learner profile based upon the ABLLS-R curriculum and developed by our BCBA. An individually-designed intervention program will then be created that will include:

Comprehensive assessments will be completed across settings (at home, in the community, at the clinic, etc.) to ensure each individual program addresses the primary needs of each child.
Behavior Intervention Plans will be developed based on a functional assessment of the target behaviors.
Data that will be collected and analyzed on a daily basis to determine any necessary changes to the intervention programs.
Parents will receive home implementation guidelines and training to facilitate the generalization of skills learned in the clinic.
Fees are based per hour so that every program is individualized

Enrollment is limited. Payment is required at time of enrollment and monthly thereafter. Progress reports and receipts will be available for families to provide to insurance companies for possible reimbursement. Please contact Dana Daniel at 817-522-5061 for more information.

Home-based Programs: Also available for children of all ages, our home-based programs bring all of the services offered in clinic to your home. Line therapists to provide your child’s therapy will be hired, trained, and monitored by our BCBA.

Private Behavior Consultations: Does your child have a problematic behavior that needs to be addressed? Our BCBA can provide a thorough behavioral assessment in the environment(s) where the behavior occurs, and then provide you with a plan for addressing the behavior.

ARD Support: Our BCBA also has extensive experience as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology. We can provide you with guidance regarding your child’s IEP and even attend your child’s ARD if needed.

School Consultations: Behavioral consultations in the school environment are available on a case by case basis. Our BCBA will coordinate with your child’s school to create effective, research-based interventions. School staff training is also available.

Parent Training: Parent training is essential in any program so that your child can generalize his or her skills learned with the therapist. This service is included with any clinic or home-based program.

BCBA Professionals

Dana Daniel MS, LSSP, BCBA serves as Senior Behavior Analyst for LoneStar Solutions. After completing her undergraduate degree in Human Development with Texas Tech University, Dana went on to earn a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in School Psychology, from the University of Texas at Tyler. After six years of working in public schools as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, she went on to earn her Graduate Certification in ABA through the University of North Texas, and soon after her BCBA. Dana has worked with children with Autism as well as children with Emotional/Behavioral Disorders throughout her career. From assessment to intervention, she specializes in using a Verbal Behavior approach that is as naturalistic as possible. Additionally, she has received continuing education from top behavior analysts in the country. At LoneStar Solutions, Dana supervises each home and clinic-based program for every student. She trains and monitors therapists to bring the highest quality program to every family. In addition, Dana provides supervision to students working toward their own BCBA certification.
Rebecca Click, MA, BCBA is the Director of Autism Services for Behavior Healthcare Services. As a BCBA for over 10 years, she has provided services across many different behaviors, skill levels, and settings. Beginning with her training at West Virginia University as an undergraduate and continuing as a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, she has received training from some of the most influential people in the field of Behavior Analysis. At Lonestar Solutions, Rebecca manages the development and implementation of the Autism Solutions program for both the pre-school and home/community-based services. She also provides supervision for other Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Associate Behavior Analysts, and students completing programs to qualify them to become certified.

LoneStar Solutions is in our 10th year of providing services in the Dallas/Ft. Worth region of Texas. In addition to our Autism services, LoneStar Solutions also offers a variety of other behavioral services to the community out of our Arlington office. These services include:

Foster placement in our licensed foster homes for children in the custody of the Department of Family and Protective Services (CPS).
Disabilities services through the Home and Community Based Medicaid Waiver (HCS), under the Department of Aging and Disability Services. HCS services support individuals with developmental disabilities/mental retardation and often other needs due to physical/medical and/or mental health concerns.
Support Family Services through the Community Living Assistance and Support Services Medicaid Waiver (CLASS), under the Department of Aging and Disability Services. CLASS services support individuals with physical disabilities. One service under CLASS is a support family, when families choose to have their child live with a licensed home in a shared parenting agreement, so that the child can live in a family near the parents, rather than a more institutional situation.
Outpatient therapy services provided by Licensed Clinical Social Workers. Billing can be through Medicare, Medicaid, Private pay, Aetna Health Insurance, or Integrated Mental Health Managed Medicaid (Star Health Program, Star Plus, and Children’s Health Insurance Program/CHIP).
Transportation services for seniors or disabled people, for appointments and other needs, paid by private pay
Upcoming: Training for parents in managing problem behaviors, in group sessions.
